Hounslow Council launches transport strategy consultation
A consultation on transport would like to hear the views of those living in flats to rent in the London borough of Hounslow and other local residents.
Hounslow Council is seeking feedback on its Local Implementation Plan, which is the 20-year transport strategy for the borough, and would like to hear what people who live, work or visit the area have to say.
The local authority has published the strategy on its website and is also hosting a forum on February 24th so residents can discuss the proposals directly with council officers.
Corinna Smart, lead member for the environment at the Hounslow Council, said: "In short, the council is keen to ensure that all residents are able to get around the borough easily by their chosen method of transport."
She added that this goal has to work alongside the authority's aims of improving its environmental performance.
Recently, Camden Council announced that it is seeking feedback on its own transport strategy.
