Dance lovers in Richmond invited to head to Locate festival
Dance aficionados living in property to rent in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, as well as other accommodation in the area, have been invited to head to Locate festival.
Taking place across the borough until August, there is a whole programme of dance commissions and workshops, run by some of the biggest rising stars in choreography from the UK.
Four choreographers are carrying out a series of different events throughout the borough, showing off some brand-new dance productions, complete with digital installations and soundscapes.
"The Locate festival is a unique opportunity for people who are interested in dance to enjoy performances in the beautiful locations around our borough," explained councillor Pamela Fleming, strategic cabinet member for community development at Richmond Council.
She added that the aim of the event is to showcase the skills and attractions on offer.
Last week, a charity quiz night held by Richmond's mayor to raise money for the Citizen's Advice Bureau in the area raised £1,770.
