Competition launched ahead of Balham Food Festival
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Wandsworth and other local homeowners are being given the chance to take part in a new food design contest.
The Design a Dish scheme has been launched by Lamberts restaurant ahead of Balham Food Festival, which Wandsworth Council and the Balham Partnership are getting behind.
According to the council, the dish idea that comes out on top in the competition will be included by the restaurant on its future food festival menu.
July 10th will see the launch of this year's festival, with a diverse range of events set to be staged until the 24th.
Those based in Balham properties to rent might also be interested to learn about another key development which is emerging in the region.
Wandsworth Council revealed earlier this week that it is working with the governors of Alderbrook School to safeguard two local nursery classes.
