Stars sign up to Camden climate change scheme
Camden Council has revealed that a number of celebrities are signing up to its scheme to help improve the environment of the London borough.
The council is urging residents to make an environmentally-friendly resolution through the 'Green promise' initiative.
And among those living in the area that have agreed to changes is author Ben Elton, who has pledged to take his own bags to shops and walk wherever possible.
In addition, actor Sean Bean has stated that he will be growing a wildflower patch in his windowsill or garden.
Chris Knight, executive member for the environment at Camden Council, noted that making small changes would help combat climate change.
He explained that there has been a "huge range of support from residents and celebrities alike", adding: "It's great to see
well known faces showing their green credentials and putting their names to promises to help the environment."
Last month the borough introduced a scheme allowing residents to recycle electrical items by posting them in special envelopes.
