New service scheme for residents of property to rent in Merton
Anyone living in property to rent in Merton should be aware that the region's local authority is doing its bit to meet the "evolving needs and concerns of its residents".
In a statement released last week by Merton Council, it was revealed that a new initiative has been established to try and ensure people living in property to rent in Merton have quality customer service at a price they can afford.
The Transformation Programme has also been designed to make the local council a more efficient organisation.
David Williams, leader of Merton Council, said: "Putting residents' needs first is our goal and so the cabinet has to continually evolve to proactively respond to the challenges Merton faces and to deliver our clear vision for the future."
Changes to the cabinet have been made to help both the council and tenants during tough times, he added.
Elsewhere in Merton this month, people living in Wimbledon had their requests for the expansion of Wimbledon Chase Primary School granted - it will soon provide space for 210 more pupils.
