London Buses plans new route
A bus route has been proposed by London Buses, with residents of the boroughs it would serve set to have their say on the plans.
Those living in flats to rent in Finchley as well as others across Barnet, Brent and Harrow are all being consulted, with Transport for London (TFL) sending leaflets to some homes.
It is hoped that the route will provide greater links to London Underground stations, as well as schools and hospitals.
Head of consultation and engagement Peter Bradley explained that places not previously served by buses could be set to benefit as a result.
"We believe the proposed introduction of route 324 would greatly improve transport links in the local area," he said.
Earlier this week, TFL announced that all buses in the capital are now equipped with iBus technology - which gives information about upcoming stops - in order to help people travelling on unfamiliar routes.
