'Fantastic food' in Camden
A North London gastropub serving modern European food could be the ideal place to visit for a relaxing evening.
The Prince Albert in Camden offers "fine wine, fantastic food and friendly and knowledgeable service" according to a Tottenham, Wood Green & Edmonton Journal review.
Housed in a brick Victorian building on Royal College Street and refurbished in 2007, critic Alex Jarvis says the pub offers respite from the nearby market's hustle and bustle.
The critic enjoyed a "simple and satisfying" starter of bread and oil followed by succulent lamb for the main course and an "exquisitely presented" millionaire's cheesecake.
He recommended the bar's buzzy atmosphere as perfect for a pre-dinner drink.
The Prince Albert is currently offering diners some low-priced offers on its set menu and it may be a great venue for a late-afternoon meal for residents of property to rent in Camden.
If visitors book a table between 15:00 and 19:00 BST from Monday to Thursday, they can get three courses for £10.50.
