Enfield set for Black History Month grand finale
People living in flats to rent in Edmonton can enjoy the grand finale of Black History Month with a special show next Saturday (October 29th).
Young people aged between 13 and 19 are set to put on a "heart-stopping" performance from 18:00 BST at the Gladys Aylward Theatre on Windmill Road.
I know I can features some of Enfield's best home-grown talent, including singers, poets, rappers, MCs, comedians, musicians and actors, as well as a "stunning" new routine from last year's dance group Cerebro.
Councillor Bambos Charalambous, cabinet member for leisure, culture and youth services, said: "X Factor and Britain's got Talent have nothing on this. The past two years have shown that our young people are simply bursting with energy, talent and a desire to bring some great entertainment to the borough."
Admission is £3 for adults and £2 for under-16s.
Black History Month is held every October in Britain and every February in the US and Canada.
