Will frustrated buyers consider flats to rent in London?
flats to rent in London might be seen as an attractive option as property experts insist the housing market in enduring negativity and fewer people purchase abodes in the UK.
David Amstell, founder of industry website Briffy.com, suggested that the sector is starting to endure its worst period for buying and selling after prices were said to have peaked for this year.
He responded to figures published by Rightmove for July, which revealed that valuations have dipped by 0.6 per cent and an annual rise in the cost of buying that previously stood at seven per cent has been wiped out.
Mr Amstell believes these statistics highlight the depressed state of the market at the moment, analysis that may get some would-be purchasers thinking about flats to rent in London.
He said: "We are in the doldrums and then everyone is looking forward to December, so it is the worst period in the whole year for buying and selling houses."
