Topshop unveils new flagship store in Knightsbridge
High street fashion retailer Topshop has opened a new flagship store in the heart of London's Knightsbridge area.
According to DTZ, which was involved in the project, its new premises will incorporate elements that have attracted shoppers to its New York flagship store.
The new shop offers 18,500 sq ft of retail space over three floors and its launch earlier this week attracted stars such as Kate Moss and American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Its associate director for Central London Mark Painter indicated that Topshop's move into the area will attract more high street brands to open up branches there.
Earlier this month, Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed, who also owns Fulham Football Club, agreed to sell the famous Knightsbridge store to Qatar Holdings for a reported £1.5 billion.
News of Topshop's new redesigned flagship UK store opening for business may be of interest to people considering looking for property to rent in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
