Telford commences construction of Southwark developments
East London apartment builder Telford Homes has started its first two new developments south of the Thames, which will create a range of flats for sale in London.
The two sites are located in Southwark, on Queens Road SE15 and will have 25 apartments each for open market sale, incluing six for shared ownership, and will be a combination of one, two and three-bedroom flats.
Telford then plans to convert a former industrial site on Queens Row SE17 into a four-storey development of 14 one, two and three-bedroom flats on Walworth Road.
All apartments will come with floor coverings and kitchen appliances as standard and the assistance of a dedicated Telford Homes customer service team, who will provide owner-occupiers, landlords and tenants with expert help before, during and after completion, which is scheduled for autumn 2009.
"We are pleased to be offering apartments in such well-connected locations, with excellent transport links and a huge amount of regeneration happening in the area already," said Sheena Ellwood, Telford's sales and marketing director.
