SW3 is 'most exclusive neighbourhood'
The Brompton neighbourhood of West London has been named as the priciest and most desirable in the capital by Forbes.com.
International multi-millionaires were flocking to the area, at the heart of the exclusive Kensington and Chelsea borough, with prices for house purchase going through the roof.
Forbes.com claimed that the average home sale in the SW3 Brompton area had now reached around £2 million, with figures from the finance world and many with international fortunes snapping up property in the luxurious neighbourhood.
The area is filled with spacious white, stucco homes and boasts easy access to Chelsea's most fashionable thoroughfare, the Kings Road, making SW3 a top target for top-end buyers and renters.
Rental is in fact a way for many to access prime areas and their lifestyle benefits without paying the huge sums required for buying in the area – especially while house prices are potentially losing value.
Other surrounding neighbourhoods like Knightsbridge and Belgravia also ranked highly in the Forbes charts, proving the appeal of the Kensington and Chelsea neighbourhood as a whole.
