Residents of flats to rent could benefit from outdoor gym
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Hackney may be able to take advantage of a new outdoor gym that is to be built in the area.
An adiZone will be constructed on Mabley Green, which is a popular park space in the east of the region.
It will include areas for football, basketball and tennis, as well as a climbing wall and outdoor gym.
There will also be designated spaces for gymnastics, aerobics and dancing.
Construction of the adiZone began on Monday August 9th and it will be free for people to use at any time of the year.
It is hoped the development, which is a direct benefit of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London, will make Mabley Green an enjoyable place to visit.
Last month, Start Performing Community Organisation called on Hackney residents to help clean up the areas surrounding the River Lee and the canals by the Olympic Park.
