Property to rent in London 'becoming a popular option'
There is likely to be increased demand for property to rent in London thanks to its "successful working culture", according to the founder and chief executive of upad.
James Davis asserted that "it is no longer a taboo to rent" and more and more people are considering renting due to work commitments.
A rising population and the fact many people are choosing to get married later in life are also contributing to this demand, as well as the cost of purchasing property - which remains prohibitively high for some.
Figures from the FindaProperty.com Rental Index, published earlier this month, indicated that the average rental value in London fell by 0.9 per cent between June and July.
property to rent in London and Scotland were the only regions to see monthly falls this month.
In July, the average rental price across the UK as a whole increased to its highest level this month since March.
