Property in Kensington and Chelsea 'has value'
An Estate Agent in London has claimed that buyers are seeing the value of property in Kensington and Chelsea.
Peter Rollings, managing director of Marsh & Parson, said people with purchasing power are "competing hard for the best properties" in the region.
His comments come after the Estate Agents in London reported that transactions in the prime London property market are "substantially up".
"The number of people exchanging contracts has risen about 70 per cent from January following excellent buyer registrations in the first quarter," Mr Rollings explained.
It appears there are continuing signs of improvement in the property market in the capital, he added.
Those unable to afford a deposit for a mortgage in London will still be able to find property to rent in Kensington and Chelsea.
Anyone in rental accommodation in this part of West London will have the benefits of a number of green spaces, as well as the close proximity to Premier League football side Chelsea.
