Property in Hackney can enter In Bloom comp
Residents in property in Hackney who are proud of their gardening skills have been given the option to enter the Hackney in Bloom 2009 competition.
Garden areas, whether they be outside property to rent in Shoreditch or around flats to rent in the more wider region, can all be contenders for the horticultural prize.
"If you are proud of your planting skills and think your garden is among the borough's best, then why not enter this year's Hackney in Bloom contest?" Hackney borough council states.
There are a number of categories in this year's event, including Best Container Garden, Best Front Garden, Best Residential Area and Best Community Garden.
Other locals may find they can win one of the Best Educational Garden, Best Business Premises or Best Blooming Pub titles.
Gardens are often one of the defining factors when families are looking at flats to rent in London.
