Piccadilly line improvements seen by residents of property in Camden
Residents of property in Camden have seen an improvement in London Underground services thanks to changes to the Piccadilly line, it has been claimed.
According to Transport for London (TFL), more than 650,000 use the route each day - with trains often as busy at weekends and in the evening as at peak commuter times.
The body noted that this has led to delays in the past, but timetable changes made last year and an increase in services have helped address the issue.
As a result, those living in flats to rent in Camden will have found that time spent waiting for trains has been cut by 25 per cent.
Phil O'Hare, general manager for the Piccadilly line at TFL, explained that passenger satisfaction is now at "record levels".
"The success of our new timetable means our customers have quicker journeys and a more reliable service on the Piccadilly line," he said.
Last week, TFL announced that it is consulting those living in Barnet, Brent and Harrow over plans for a new bus route.
