Multi-billion pound London development good for local tenants
Anyone looking for property to rent in the London borough of Camden will be very interested in new developments around the area.
A new £4.5 billion redevelopment of the Brent Cross Cricklewood area will include a new train station, a 50 per cent expansion of Brent Cross Shopping Centre and 7,500 new residential properties.
The redevelopment plans were approved by Mayor of London Boris Johnson on Friday. Approval is now needed from the Government Office for London.
The development director, Jonathan Joseph, told local newspaper group Times Series that the development needs to underline a sense of community and help local community groups grow.
"The point of the regeneration is to provide better jobs, training and living conditions and better community facilities," he said.
This news will be of great interest to people looking for property to rent in the London borough of Camden with new schools and transport links as well as upgrades for roads and local facilities.
