More children's facilities in Tooting
This summer will see residents of property to rent in Wandsworth - the Tooting area in particular - benefit from more facilities for young people.
Nine playgrounds have been revamped, while there are 11 new parks set to open in the area this financial year.
The play facilities will be accompanied this summer by a seven-metre-square 'beach', which will be open to the public at Tooting Triangle throughout August.
Some 20 tonnes of sand has been brought in by the local council to create a seaside-esque atmosphere in inner city London and give children something to enjoy during what is hoped will be a hot summer holiday period.
Residents of flats to rent in Islington, as well as other people living in the borough, were able to enjoy a similar service last summer when a 'beach' was placed outside the Business Design Centre on Upper Street.
