Hackney top ten property hotspot: Property hotspots for 2008
property hotspots for 2008.
The borough, which will benefit from the regeneration associated with the 2012 Olympics, made the list for the biggest predicted value growth areas next year compiled by Halifax Estate Agents.
At its most southerly the borough includes trendy Hoxton, which, as well as seeing the arrival of a host of new bars and galleries over recent years is on the doorstep of the City and a short bus ride or walk from Liverpool Street station.
With no Tube Stations in the borough, it has come to rely on a myriad of bus services, the Silverlink train line and the One train line out of Liverpool Street.
However, construction is now underway to build a Tube stop at Dalston Junction, which would connect with the East London line which would connect to the Canary Wharf-bound Jubilee Line at Canada Water.
