Award-winning office development to bring prosperity to Southwark
An office complex, soon to be occupied by one of London's big accountancy firms, has won high praise for its sustainability.
7 More London, part of the More London Riverside development, has been rated as 'outstanding' under the BREEAM standard which measures an office complex for environmental performance and the building's sustainability.
The building, which will house PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 2011, not only recycles waste heat to regulate temperature, but used 80 per cent recycled aggregates in the concrete used to build PwC's new home.
Although PwC has yet to move into the area, many companies have made home at the development next to Tower Bridge.
Ernst & Young is residing in an office overlooking HMS Belfast, currently moored on the River Thames. Luxury hotelier Hilton has five-star accommodation at the complex as well.
These exciting developments will encourage people to look for property in the London borough of Southwark with its excellent transport links and proximity to some of London's biggest organisations.
