Westminster tops beauty stakes
Those living in Westminster, the City and Kensington and Chelsea have topped a survey of the most physically attractive.
Research published this week shows that bottom of the list of most attractive residents in London live in Bromley, Newham and Barking and Dagenham.
Psychologists have attributed the findings to the fact that those living in more affluent areas smile more and appear more attractive.
More people are now expected to be drawn to rent property in these London boroughs which include the most beautiful people.
"We're obviously thought to be attracted to people from areas we're familiar with - people also tend to live near people who look like them," said Dr Viren Swami, a physical attraction expert.
The Westminster study was published in the journal of Personality and Individual Differences and was based on results from 461 people.
Respondents were asked to award a score of beauty to all of the London boroughs, including the City of London.
Researchers also looked at factors, such as life expectancy, House prices and gross salaries.
